Fed: Artillery Barracks to be transferred to WA govt
The federal government is to transfer the Fremantle Artillery Barracks to the Western
Australian government.
Parliamentary Defence Secretary ERIC ABETZ says the barracks is a significant heritage
facility which has been in use since the early 1900s.
Artillery Barracks was listed for decommissioning by the former Labor government.
